Volunteer with SQPRA
Join Us!
Our small volunteer team is made up of local people just like you! And we need more of you.

Volunteers make the St Quintin Park a better place to live. By offering some of your free time and energy, you can make change happen.

Whether it's playing a part in running and driving the Residents' Association forward as a Committee Member or Friend of SQPRA, attending regular meetings, or actively volunteering with us to help with local events or run new initiatives, we are looking for new volunteers to bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm and diversity to our local activity.
Benefits of volunteering with SQPRA
-
Expand your horizons: Make new friends and connect with like-minded individuals who are dedicated to making a difference.
-
Develop new skills: Acquire valuable hands-on experience and skills that can benefit you personally and professionally - whether that's leadership, event planning or simply giving back to your community.

-
Build meaning and purpose: Make a meaningful impact on the lives of others and improve your own confidence, self-esteem and mental wellbeing.
.
-
Share lived experience: Use your understanding and experience of different cultures and values to support others and build trust across our community.
-
Give back: You can play an important role in helping people in need, reducing inequalities and paving the way for a more inclusive and connected community.

Become a Residents' Association Committee Member
If you’d like to show your support, please think about joining as a Committee Member.
Committee Meetings
Meetings are on the second Monday of every month.
We make meetings as interesting as possible and sometimes invite guests to speak on local issues. The atmosphere is open and friendly. Members can ask questions and be involved in decision-making, with a chance to meet friends and neighbours. Refreshments are available at the start of the meeting.

Even if you live outside this area, you can join us as a 'Friend of SQPRA'. You can’t vote at meetings or be an officer, but other than that, you are a fully fledged member.
Join us as a Volunteer
Even if you can’t make it to meetings, you can support SQPRA in other ways.
We always need volunteers to help with or organise the events we run like the monthly Tea Parties, the annual Panto, or new initiatives. You might like to set up your own Action Group or affiliate to a local organisation that you are part of?
