Little Scrubs Park
We are very fortunate to be located right next to Little Scrubs Park!

This is a Green Flag Award winning site. The Green Flag is the national standard for parks and open spaces.
The Park consists of a large open area consisting of amenity grassland, semi-improved neutral grassland, scrub, scattered trees and woodland. There is an adventure playground with an adjoining One o' Clock club on the west side of the park and a smaller toddlers playground located on the east side.

Kensington Memorial Gardens
Another Green Flag Park on St Mark's Road W10 (Just off Dalgarno Gardens) opposite St Charles Hospital.
This stunning park is the first to undergo major improvements as part of the Ten-year parks strategy 2006-2015. The park offers many recreational activities including pleasant formal areas, a children’s playground, tennis, football, junior cricket and One O’clock club which is managed by Family and Children’s Services.
A kiosk is open during the summer months with a kids water park. Garden Practicalities: staffed Park. Open 7.30am until dusk. Public toilet facilities. You can now hire one of the 3 tennis courts, call the Sports Booking Line: 020 7602 2226

Portobello Market
Portobello Market in West London is one of the most famous street markets in the world. It is a popular destination for Londoners and tourists alike.
Portobello Road goes straight through the heart of Notting Hill, the trendy area of London made famous by the Film.
There a many lovely pubs, bars and restaurants around Portobello which is within 15 minutes walk from St Quintin's.

Harlesden
Harlesden is a rich resource for ethnic foods. There ae market shops that sell ethnic groceries and hair products and it's home to a huge international store that sells Turkish, Polish and other eastern European products.
It just takes 10 minutes on the 220 bus from Scrubs Lane.
Shepherd's Bush
Shepherd's Bush is in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, situated 4.9 miles (7.9 km) west of Charing Cross. Although it is primarily residential in character, its focus is the shopping area of Shepherds Bush Green, the north side of which is home to the Westfield shopping centre, the largest urban shopping centre in Europe. The south side also has a smaller shopping centre, West 12, with a supermarket, cinema and gym. The main thoroughfares are Uxbridge Road, Goldhawk Road and Askew Road, all containing a large number of small and mostly independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Loftus Road in Shepherd's Bush is home to Queen's Park Rangers football club.
There is a well known market that is easily accessed from Shepherd's Bush Market Station.
It is bordered by Hammersmith to the south/south-west, Brook Green to the south/south-east, Holland Park (and then Notting Hill) to the east, Willesden and Harlesden to the north and by Acton and Chiswick to the west.
Transport
The area is served by buses 7, 70, 316 and 220 with more options along wood lane or Ladbroke Grove.
Local Tube stations include; Ladbroke Grove, Latimer Road, Kensal Rise and Kensal Green as well as Westbourne Park, Ntoting Hill Gate,White City and Wood Lane.
